So to increase knowledge and improve performance in the loading bay, we’ve developed specialist training courses and one-to-one training sessions that help equip operatives with the right skills to ensure best practice and further heighten health and safety in the workplace.

Our Mobile Yardramp training course offers thorough knowledge to employees using a classroom theory lesson, followed by a short exam and a hands-on practical session that informs operatives of all the key essentials involved in safely and effectively using our Mobile Yardramp equipment.

The course is easy-to-understand and can improve equipment competency for operatives as well as help employers benefit from increased staff safety, and ensure that each item of Thorworld equipment is used to its best potential.

We enable staff to understand the uses of the equipment and can perform the necessary pre-use checks, as well as show staff how to manoeuvre apparatus and connect equipment to related apparatus or machinery.  Our tailored training also informs users of how to disconnect equipment and safely check and store it.  Furthermore, these training sessions also cover the key points of equipment maintenance and highlight important risk assessment factors.
